Outcome measures
Primary outcome
The aim of this study is to gain better insight in the psychological and functional recovery of women, and their partners, after SHIP.
Secondary outcome
This study will further assess personality characteristics, illness perception, coping strategies and QOL of women, and their partners, after SHIP.

Study objective
Increased knowledge in the physiological recovery after SHiP could contribute to appropriate counseling about the emotional impact of the event and could lead to a more extensive follow-up to recognize the need for psychological help of both women and their partner.

Intervention
Questionnaires (SF-36, SVL, UCL, PRISM-RII) and an individual face-to-face in-depth interview will be carried out.

Inclusion criteria
Eleven women with SHiP in their obstetrical history, who already gave written permission to include their case in our previous case-series, will be asked to participate in this trial.
Partners will be asked separately if they are willing to participate.
Exclusion criteria
If women or their partners are unable or unwilling to give informed consent, they will be excluded from participation in this trial.
