Secondary outcome
Maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Background summary
Aspirin adherence during pregnancy could be improved. We will perform a randomized controlled trial investigating the added value of a mobile application over standard counseling on aspirin adherence during pregnancy. Adherence will be measured by two validated questionnaires on medication adherence: Simplified Medication Adherence Questionnaire (SMAQ) and Beliefs and Behaviour Questionnaire (BBQ).
Study objective
Use of a mobile application might increase knowledge about aspirin during pregnancy and thereby improve adherence.
Study design
Participants will be included before 16 weeks of gestation. Questionnaires will be send between 26 and 30 weeks of gestation.
Intervention
Allocation to standard counseling or in addition use of a mobile application.
