The extent of shared decision making

Disease-specific knowledge, decisional conflict and regret, the quality of life, the level of anxiety and depression, the experience of using the decision aid, to compare the clinical practice in the Netherlands before and after introduction of the decision aid.
Background summary
A prospective controlled study in which patients in the control group receive standard of care, and are asked to fill out two questionnaires. Patients in the intervention group will receive standard of care as well, but will receive the option grid and decision aid additionally, they are asked to fill out two questionnaires as well.
Study objective
To improve shared decision-making by using the decision aid.

Using the optiod grid + decision aid.
Inclusion criteria
- Patients with (suspicious) advanced stage epithelial OC who will be/are informed on primary treatment
- Written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
- Patients who are not able to use a computer
- Patients who are not competent in the Dutch language
