Colonization of patients with Multiresistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Study objective

Usage of the 'Moveosiphon' sonothermal sink disinfection device prevents leads to a persistant decrease in colonization with multiresistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Study design

Three-monthly cultures of all sinks of the ICU

Intervention

Installation of 'Moveosiphon' sonothermal sink disinfection device in one of the two physically separated units of the ICU of the Leiden University Medical Center
