Study objective
The aim of the current study is to investigate and compare the actual risk of aggression and the assumed risk of aggression (by staff) in the forensic psychiatric and regular psychiatric population. The hypothesis is that the actual risk of aggression in the forensic psychiatric population is greater than the actual risk of aggression in the regular psychiatric population. Regarding assumed risk of aggression, the hypothesis is that the forensic staff is adequate in assessment of risks in the population they are working with and the regular psychiatric staff will estimate a lower risk of aggression of their own population compared to the forensic psychiatric population.

Inclusion criteria
forensic psychiatric outpatients of the Centre of Forensic Psychiatric Care of Radix, a department of the Mondriaan Mental Health Trust in the South of Limburg (the Netherlands) and regular psychiatric outpatients in the same trust. age > 18
Exclusion criteria
Patients who cannot be interviewed, or read, write of speak Dutch will be excluded.
