Study objective
The contact delay in COPD patients with COPD-exacerbations will be reduced by 50%, through adequate education of the COPD patients.
Study design
Comparison of contact delay before and after the patient-education in the same patients
Intervention
Patient-education on the importance of early recognition and treatment of a COPD-exacerbation, by general practice nurses and general practitioners in general practices in the Netherlands.
