Primary outcome measure: prognostic accuracy of [18F]FLT uptake in liver metastases with respect to patient outcomes (DFS).

Secondary outcome

Secundary outcome measure: prognostic accuracy of [18F]FLT uptake vs. existing prognostic indices with respect to patient outcomes (DFS).

Inclusion criteria

1. Technically resecrable liver metastases at
the time of hepatic recurrence diagnosis;

2. Written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

1. Claustrophobia prohibiting PET-scanning;

2. Systemic cancer therapy within 3 months
prior to PET;

3. Largest liver metastasis <2 cm.
