Background summary
Patients suspected of having obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) requiring an operation will undergo screening for OSA to avoid post operative admission to a monitored bed such as ICU or PACU
Study objective
30% of all patients suspected of having Sleep apnea in anesthetic pre operative clinic will not require post operative monitoring as OSA can be excluded pre operatively

Inclusion criteria
> 18 years old, requiring an operation, suspected of having OSA according to local protocol,
Exclusion criteria
emergency procedure, planned procedure < 5 days in future, patient with a known diagnose of OSA, patients with a condition that won't allow a plaster around finger
