Outcome measures
Primary outcome
To evaluate the feasibility (=technical success), clinical success and limitations of endoscopy-guided fiducial marker placement of 3 different types of markers in patients with esophageal cancer referred for radiotherapy.
Secondary outcome
None
Study objective
Endoscopic guided placement of markers in patients with esophageal tumors is feasible.
Study design
Final analysis will take place after full inclusion.

Inclusion criteria
- Histologically proven esophageal cancer
- Referred for radio(chemo)therapy
Exclusion criteria
- Contraindication for an endoscopy of the esophagus
- Coagulopathy or platelets < 40.000
