Outcome measures
Primary outcome
the effect of basic personality traits on the visual and Simpson’s 2D assessment of LV function and estimation of image quality.
Secondary outcome
none
Background summary
The main aim of this study is to determine the effect of personality traits, e.g. harm, avoidance or reward dependence on the visual assessment and evaluation via Simpson’s method of LV EF (including left ventricular end-diastolic and end-diastolic volumes) as well as image quality using echocardiography.
Study objective
personality traitsinfluence the assessment of echocardiography images with respect to evaluation of LV EF and image quality.
Study design
not applicable
Intervention
provide the following echo evaluations: a) a visual assessment (eyeballing) of the LV EF, b) a 2D EF via Simpson`s method (including left ventricular end-diastolic and end-diastolic volumes) and c) a determination of image quality.
