Intervention
Outcome measures
Primary outcome
Evaluation of the cerebral activity of paracetamol, assessed by f-MRI
Secondary outcome
N/A
Background summary
Paracetamol is a widely used old drug yet it remains a mystery at which part of the brain it performs its activity. Further research with modern imaging is needed. With this study we aim to reveal its location in the brain by using f-MRI.
Study objective
paracetamol induces changes in brain activity
Study design
4 months for conducting MRI and afterwards data analysis
Intervention
The first f-MRI takes 20 minutes. After leaving the f-MRI the study medication (PO) will be taken with some water. One hour later the second f-MRI is taken, and the study ends at this point.
