Background summary
It's a qualitative study which includes semi structured interviews with chosen members (“convenient sampling”) who perform various roles within the citizen's initiative in Roermond, Netherlands.
Study objective
What are the experiences of members of a citizen's initiative which focuses on a dementia friendly community? And which promoting and inhibiting factors can be found?
To become answering outcomes for the research question there will be semi structured interviews with stakeholders from one initiative in Roermond, Netherlands.
Study design
Interviews are planned between January and February 2018
Intervention
Semi structured interviews
Inclusion criteria
- member of a citizen's initiative in Roermond which focuses on a dementia friendly society
- has knowledge over this initiative
- can understand and talk the dutch language
- is cognitive and physical able to do an interview of max. 1,5 hours
Exclusion criteria
- is less than 3 months included by the initiative
- can't speak Dutch
