Background summary
The research project is aimed to evaluate a two-year interdisciplinary approach (Stadsscholen020) to promote the developmental outcomes on health, academic achievement and poverty in children living in a deprived neighborhood in Amsterdam. The outcomes of this study may increase knowledge about effective ways to give disadvantaged children equal chances from an early age. Using a mixed-methods evaluation approach the effectiveness of Stadsscholen020 is studies at four schools.

Inclusion criteria
Children at the primary schools that participate in Stadsscholen020
Exclusion criteria
Children of parents who did not gave permission for their child's participation in the study.
