Outcome measures
Primary outcome
changes in postprandial translocation of intestinal bacteria between donor and own ecal transplantation.
Secondary outcome
changes in (small) intestinal bacterial composition related to bacterial translocation.
changes in visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue and inflammatory tone between donor and own fecal transplantation
Background summary
A relation exists between gutmicrobiota composition, plasma bacterial composition as well as adpose tissue bacterial signatures. We will thus study whether changes in gutmicrobiota composition using fecal transplantation affects bacterial signature in periferpheral tissue (blood/adipose tissue)
Study objective
we hypothesize that translocation of Gram- negative intestinal bacteria is associated with changes in (small) intestinal microbiota composition and can be influenced by fecal microbiota transplantation.
Study design
0 and 3/4 weeks
Intervention
fecal transplantation
