Background summary
The aim of the study is support patients undergoing IVF treatment. After the initial consultation / diagnostics for IVF, patients receive a lot of information about the IVF cycle, hormone usage, side effects, preparations for the oocyte puncture, etc. By using an app that actively offers patients information throughout each phase of the treatment, we hypothesize they have more knowledge, are more compliant with medication usage and more satisfied with the information and support during the treatment.
Study objective
actively offering women subdivided, categorised and interactive educational content throughout their IVF treatment enables them to get a get a grip on the different stages of their treatment: from intake to medicine usage and side effects, to oocyte puncture and embryo transfer. An increased level of knowledge leads to an increased level of self management and therewith increases the perceived level of quality of care.
