Background summary
The SPECT gated blood-pool can probably replace the planar gated blood-pool.
SPECT gated blood-pool is providing a three-dimensional image of the heart.
This technique will probably contribute to a better and supplementary imaging
of the ejection fraction. At the same time it yields benefits for the patient,
it's time saving because of a shorter scantime.
Study objective
With this study we want to investigate if the SPECT gated blood-pool can
replace the planar gated blood-pool.
Study design
43 patients referred for left ventricular ejection fraction by planar gated
blood-pool also underwent immediately after this exam a SPECT gated blood-pool.
The results of the SPECT gated blood-pool will be compared with the planar
gated blood-pool.
