Background summary
There is sparse literature on lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in young,
otherwise healthy women. Yet, a high prevalence of LUTS and urinary
incontinence (UI) in schoolchildren and older women is described.
Study objective
The objective of the study is to measure the extend of voiding symptoms and
bother of the urinary tract in young females and to analyse flow patterns and
post void residual.
Study design
This is a cross-sectional observational study
Study burden and risks
Volunteers are asked to fill out one anonymous questionnaire and to perform a
non-invasive bladder test. The burden is minimal.

Female, 18-30 years of age
Exclusion criteria
History of urological disease, neurological disease, symptoms of urinary tract infection, pregnancy, parity >= 1, intravaginal tampon during uroflowmetry
