Achtergrond van het onderzoek
The NAA is an mHealth tool containing both a clinical decision support system as well as a medical record system. This study aims to evaluate acceptability and utility of the NAA among health care providers in Magu district as well as evaluate the impact of the NAA on the quality of ANC.The effect evaluation is a quasi-experimental study in the form of a before-and after measurement, in which the experimental group – receiving the intervention (NAA) – will be compared with a control group that will not have access to the NAA. In order to assess the adoption and acceptance of the NAA a longitudinal sub-study in the intervention group will be conducted.
