The presence of submucosal fibrosis or a flat morphology can limit the efficacy of standard "lift-and-cut" EMR for benign colorectal polyps. The suck-and-snare technique may provide enhanced grip of polyp tissue resulting in a higher complete resection rate. In this study we evaluate the efficacy and safety of the suck-and-snare technique for benign colorectal lesions.

Onderzoeksopzet
Baseline: patient characteristics, endoscopic procedure data and achievement of complete endoscopic resection
3-6 months: presence of endoscopic or histological recurrence
