The clinical value of [18F]Flutemetamol PET.

In this study we aim to establish the clinical value of [18F]Flutemetamol PET imaging in patients with young onset dementia, in which a firm and accurate diagnosis constitutes an important first step in future management.

Belangrijkste voorwaarden om deel te mogen nemen (Inclusiecriteria)
Young (age of diagnosis < 70 years) patients with (suspicion of) dementia.
Belangrijkste redenen om niet deel te kunnen nemen (Exclusiecriteria)
1. Have ever participated in an experimental study with an amyloid targeting agent;
2. Females of childbearing potential who are not surgically sterile, not refraining from sexual activity or not using reliable methods of contraception.
